My people, my people...this week must be good oh, I wake up every morning feeling happy. But it seems I know the secret; when you dress well, and you get compliments, you feel a certain kinda way. What's your plan? Have a drive, have a goal, focus on the dream, and watch yourself excel. I have never been a fan of ''take each day as it comes''. Very wrong statement. Taking each day means you accept whatever comes your way like you don't have a choice. You do have a choice, and you shouldn't take each day as it comes, instead, OWN each day. Push yourself and try harder. A friend once said that there is a difference between ''working hard'' and ''working smart''. The two entails working but the difference lies in how you work. Do not labor in vain. Work hard, and if you are not achieving as much result as you hoped for, try something different. Don't be afraid of change, don't be afraid of pushing yourself. Hi ya! Top of the morning to you.   How was the weekend? Mine was ok except that for some reasons best known to my network, I couldn't access the internet...and that pained me much cos I missed doing what I planned. However, it is better late than never, so here it is... Yesterday and infact this week is a special one for me. Two of my siblings have their birthday in this week and I am elated about it. Remember I told y’all my parents have five kids right? Three women and two men (lol). And we follow each other in that order. The ladies first, before the men. How courteous, ladies first! So yesterday was our baby of the house’ birthday. He is not a baby anymore though. He told me his age and almost didn’t believe him, I had to calculate myself. My parents don try sha and I hail them.   Aint easy oh. Back to my brother… This guy is such a genius, I (we) love him like kilode. He is one guy with a good heart and the way he adores his elder broth...

I don't know how people do it, and I don't agree it is possible to be friends without benefit with an ex. I would need a lot of convincing on this one to allow it sink in and look normal to me. He/She would call you everyday, keep tabs on you...what you eat, what you wear, where you and your current bf/gf  went on vacation to or what else could they possibly be talking about? Their past? Their good times? Or the error they made whilst together and if they had put in a little more effort, it could have worked out better than it did? Please tell me? When they both claim that there are no sexual benefits, this is usually the line of conversation they say they have and they would want you to agree that there isn't anything wrong with it. My dear, there is everything wrong in it. You want to know why? 'Cos it can wake up old feelings and create room for dramas. And aint nobody got time for that! Why would they want to hang out and have a drink? ...

Hi Cupcakes, how did yesterday go? Good? Not so good? Don't worry, today is gonna be a good day, if you believe, shout the loudest Amen/Amin. Halleluyah! Lol. You would think that I became a prophet overnight. I am jare. The Bible says ''decree a thing and it shall come to pass''. We all have the authority to do so, that's why we should speak forth and it shall be established. For those of us going through one difficulty or the other, I pray for you, that God shall fight your battles, and you shall hold your peace. Amen. Hi darlings... No, I haven't abandoned you. And I am not tired, I cannot be. I figured some peeps visited the blog today and I can imagine their disappointment when they figured there were no new posts. But there are old ones na, read and re-read, you'll always find something you didn't find the first time. I am (was) just down because the comments coming in were not encouraging. I need to get feedbacks, I need to feel that you are on the other side and you can feel me too. I wasn't going to say this, but it hurts to write and refresh hours later only to see 2 comments. I will cry oh! That's if I haven't already shed tears in my heart sef. I also know that it may be due to the difficulties people are experiencing in trying to comment. I have done my little modifications, I have spoken to experts and friends who operate blogs and I have tried test running with my phone...it worked when I used the default browser. So try that too. Can I shed a tear now? Lol...

Personally, I think that the pressure on young ladies to get married in this part of our world is unfair. Although the biological clock does not tick in their favor, please afford them the opportunity to be mentally and physically ready for the huge step. I am not one of dem ladies who would get herself  worked up because of this marriage issue and I advice all single ladies to do same. There's nothing like ''You don finish school, where is the man?'' Please did you send me to school to hook a man? I thought it is books they read in school, when did that change to the study of man? I didn't get the memo. Sorry. Me I sha wouldn't subscribe to such nonsense from anyone, especially outsiders (I can give excuses for parents and siblings but anyone aside them should take several seats abeg). Have you noticed that it is even the outsiders that are more ''concerned'' than your parents and siblings? When the see you at your friend's...
